Dog friendly cinema screening in Southampton

Harbor Lights Picturehouse in Southampton is opening its doors to dogs in celebration of Wes Anderson’s latest film release.

The first ever dog-friendly screening is set for Sunday 25th March at 11am for a preview showing of the quirky director’s new film, Isle of Dogs.

The special screening encourages customers to bring along their well-behaved dogs, allowing all the family to share a day out together.

Only owners are required to purchase a ticket, with dogs gaining entry for free. The cinema will be supplying water bowls inside and outside the screening and a biscuit snack pack for your canine companions. Blankets will also be available so that you dog is able to sit on the seat next to you for the duration of the film.

The cinema hopes to run future dog-friendly screenings in the future if it is a success, following the trend of other similar screenings in London, Swansea and Glasgow.
